I didn't know there were any people in our school worth fighting over. I mean, Merlin. Two girls over one guy? Completely preposterous. This is what happens, apparently. A stupid ball turns all of the girls into hawks and all of the guys into prey. What a surprise.

On the other hand, today is Hogsmeade weekend. Whether I've gotten a date auction winner or not, I refuse to go anywhere with this girl. I don't know what I could contract or what I would die from by the end of the day. So, I will stay in my dormitory and study. There's no way I'm going to open myself up to someone I don't know, much less a bloody Gryffindor who thinks charity is paying money to take a guy out.

It'd be much more charitable if she left me alone.

But leaving you alone is so much less fun. And I do take offense to the 'catching a disease' from me thing. I'm quite clean.

And really, if you don't want to go on the date, you simply should have just nicely told me instead of throwing in insults and being a big baby about it. I would have been fine with that. But no. You had to fuss like a whiney child that's being made to do something it doesn't want to do. It's quite unattractive. And I only bid on you because I felt like it. Totally random.

So, you should really just grow up and stop being a baby about all this. You go ahead and lock yourself in your dorm. It's really the mature thing to do.

Well, there would be a concern if I was here to entertain you. But, I am not, so I don't feel inclined to feel sorry. And I don't know you or where you've been, so don't feel like I'm singling you out.

The way you approached the situation forced me to treat it that way. It's not very flattering or kind when you at first publicly announce who I am and who you think might know me or ask around, like I'm some bloody fable or legend when you could have asked me. That's very disconcerting and leaves me to form opinions on who you might be. Maybe you shouldn't be doing these random things if you don't know how to handle them afterwards.

I know what I'm doing and I don't really give a damn if you think it's mature or not. Frankly, you don't deserve anything short of a mature response after what I've seen from you. If you must know, I'm a very mature person but I can be very unkind to people who don't seem like they deserve it, much like yourself.

Is that so horrible? I simply was curious as to who you were. It's not my fault that I know nothing about you. And asking you seemed to me to be far ruder than asking around. And I like doing random things. I thought it would be fun to spend time with someone I didn't know. Obviously not everyone holds that opinion.

You claim you're acting mature, and I admit, your last comment was. Your journal entry? Not in the least. You sounded like a child. And not deserve maturity? You're basing this totally on the basis that I'm outgoing and do random things. Which is a very unfair way of forming a negative opinion of someone.

I don't see why not, I don't know who would be more truthful about how I am rather than myself. If it had started off correctly in the first place, I might not have minded that much.

I am not, actually. I am basing all of this on what you've announced in your journal and how you present yourself to others, which is pretty fair compared to what you think I do.

My, my. She seems rather desperate.

You should have taken my advice.

Really, I don't think it would have scared her much, to be honest.

I didn't think you were trying to scare her.
